As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Von Gruben is dedicated to providing the highest level of dental care for your children on the Northshore and the surrounding areas of St. Tammany Parish. We make appointments fun and comfortable: catering to infants, children, and teens with the same level of care we would give to our own children. Since he’s also a father of seven, Dr. Von Gruben understands the need for parents to be involved in their children’s healthcare, which is why parents are always welcome to accompany their child throughout appointments. Dr. Von Gruben encourages parents to ask any questions you may have and learn about the full range of treatment options available.
In addition to providing routine dental care and treatment, we use nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and general anesthesia. Dr. Von Gruben can also provide dental treatment in a hospital setting for children who cannot be treated in the office using nitrous oxide and/or IV sedation. The doctor has privileges at Children's Hospital of New Orleans and St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
We think that dentistry should be fun, too! Our office has a gaming area and tv's on the ceiling in each room to provide a fun and relaxing environment for the children. At the end of each appointment, your youngster may also collect golden tokens to claim a prize and take home a sticker and goody bag. It is our goal to have each child leave with a healthy and happy smile.
